Imagine, a boy barely 12-years-old running an entire militant group. This is how, Johnny Htoo, the child militia leader of the small but notorious gang of God’s Army would like to introduce himself.



Johnny is revered as the black-tongued child leader of the rebel group, but recently it might have come as a big surprise to everyone when the leader along with nine other fighters surrendered before the military government.



According to reports from the state media, he also brought along with him some weapons as well as good numbers of assault rifles.



Johnny also has a twin brother, but no one knows about his whereabouts: both the black-tongued twins, (Black-tongue is regarded as symbol of divine powers) were asked to join the militia group by the believers and followers of the Karen Tradition to fight for the cause of independence.
