200 Bonded Laborers Rescues in Delhi

More then 200 bonded child laborers were rescued from Seelampur, Bhajanpur and Gautampuri areas in Delhi, during the raid conducted by the labor department.

These children aged between 6-12 years, use to work at zari, embroidery and carpet industries. Labor Commissioner Narendra Kumar said that the raids are still on and there are the chances of rescuing more children in the future. He also added that the children work under inhuman conditions and were paid a meager amount only.
