Students bullying teacher is quite understandable, but teacher doing the same act do not sound good. According to a survey by The International Journal of Social Psychiatry, almost fifty percent of the elementary school teacher openly admitted of intimidating their students.

Out of 116 surveyed teachers, an estimated forty five percent admitted of bullying the pupils themselves in the class. This is, however, not a new thing. Most of the teachers tend to do it repeatedly.

Professor Twemlow, from the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences says, that since the teachers hardly gets any training on how to discipline the students, they often take up bullying.

The survey also reveals that those teachers who were bullied while they were in their schools days are more likely to commit the same act.
