Around 8650 child labours were liberated in Malawi according to a recent report from the Malawi’s Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.



From the tea plantation district of Thyolo, a massive figure of above 4650 children’s were set free from there paid employment and around 2675 joined their schools again.



The rest of the 4000 were released from the tobacco estates as well as those working in the homes of some well off families and has been send back to continue their education.
