According to a report released by the Children’s Department and the NGOs, 1000 Kenyan children are embracing death daily due to abuse and neglect that they are suffering from adults.



Last year, nearly 50,000 child abuse cases were recorded in the files, although there are many more numbers, which were not reported to the concerned authorities.



In almost 61% cases, the abusers were the near and dear ones who are supposed to look after the child. As stated in the report, sexual abuse tops the list of violence against these helpless children.
