According to a latest report presented by Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of UN to the Security Council, the abuse of children staying at the displaced camps are escalating these days.
Majority of the children are abused by the armed forces- the army of the Sudanese government and by the Janjaweed militia who are actively involved in recruiting child soldiers in the region of Darfur. Children are kidnapped and killed every single day in the Southern and Western part of Sudan, while the government does not seem to be bothered about it.
