The Academy Award wining actress Angelina Jolie is not only known for her looks. She has made herself a thespian worth venerating with her role as a United Nations Goodwill ambassador in her endless campaign for children’s rights. Recently, the actress was heard telling her plans to give a big advertisement in USA Today next week calling for an end to the violence in Darfur, Sudan which is directly affecting hundreds of children there.



Jolie tells People magazine :

The situation in Darfur has been going on far too long. It’s only getting worse. Reports are pouring in about mass atrocities including children getting raped and killed. If people are aware of the facts, I believe many will be driven to action.
