
As estimated by the International Labour Organization, the number of child labour cases in Asia Pacific as recorded in the years starting from 2000 to 2004 has dropped significantly.
There is almost a four percent fall in the ratio, says ILO. Among the nations which have emerged successful in fighting this burning matter includes countries like Latin America, and Caribbean.
Lin Lean Lim, the deputy regional director of ILO has said that in 10 years time it is possible to reduce the number of child labour cases if considerable efforts are being made by the required departments.
