Child labour is one of the worst forms of exploitation of a child. Africa has the highest incidence of child labour, while Asia being the most densely populated reegion has the largest number of child labourers.
It has 61 percent of the world’s child labourers.
The incidence is recorded by ILO as 41 percent for sub-Saharan Africa, 21 percent for Asia and 17 percent for Latin America. The worst form of child labour is the exploitation of children in sex trade. According to the UNICEF survey around 1 million of the Asia children are lured up in the sex business every year.
