A major international child pornography ring, who paid to view videos depicting young children being sexually abused, involving more than 2,000 suspects from 77 countries have been seized by Austrian authorities.
Their prey included children as young as five year olds.
According to the official records, 607 of the suspects were in the United States, 466 in Germany, 114 in France and 23 in Austria.
It also asserted that a Russian website offered links to the videos that were recorded in countries ranging from Algeria to Iceland and Venezuela.
No suspects were yet in custody, but Austrian establishment stated that they were sharing their information with law enforcement in other countries hoping that suspects could be investigated and charged.
