Researchers from the Netherlands have found that about 45 percent of the children are bullied at least once or twice, and about 38 percent of the children have bullied other children at least once or twice.



Although it was discovered that mostly the boys bully other children but the both boys and girls were reported similar rates of being bullied. Study also revealed that it is mostly the children in grades 6 to 10 who were involved in bullying, whether as a victim or as bullies. Students who are bullied face many health problems such as headaches, sleeping problems, abdominal pain, anxiety, unhappiness, poor appetite, bed wetting and depression, which are very similar to the problems suffered by the abuse victims.
