In the wake of the sensitive child labour issue in the country, the Indian government at last decided to take up some inflexible step. With the child labour law to be effective from October 10, the Central government is taking every possible measure to implement the law within its staff members.
Well, it’s always best to practice before preaching...
The move taken by the Central government for a child labour free ministry will indeed be fruitful and will prove necessary for the effectiveness of the government to implement the child labour ban plan.
To make the message clear to the members, the labour ministry has directed the ministry of Personnel and Training to take an undertaking from all the employees stating that they are not employing any child labourers at their home. This new process is all set to be a law to benefit the underprivileged kids.
This is a warning to all the employees as well as the common people that a surprise raid is on the cards as well.
So, ’stay safe’ and ‘provide a secure future’ to the ‘Children of India‘.

The Government of India has proved that charity begins at home. The step will set a sencere as well as stern example towards ensuring rights of the unfortunate children.
Nevertheless, in many cases children take to or made to take up labour work not by choice. Will the government as well as non-governmental organisations also ensure rehabiliation, mainstreaming and empowerment of such children to set a trend? This will further strengthen the move, for sure.
