Judi Tschappat, development director, CYN said that in Lake county children can participate in a drawing competition the theme for which will be based on health activities for family.



The main aim of the art contest is to spread awareness among the people about how to help to solve the problem of child abuse. The entire event is financed by the Grayslake Community Youth Network.



There will be the Take a Step for Kids 5K/10K Run and 5K Walk on April 22 conducted by CYN, during which the winners drawings will be imprinted on the T shirts to be worn in this runs.



As said by Tschappat, the CYN’s members have decided to go to the middle schools and high schools and share their part of child abuse prevention knowledge with the school students.
