According to the figures revealed by the housing charity Shelter, there are around 127,992 children in England, who will wake up homeless on the Christmas day.

There are alone 83,962 children in London who are living in temporary accommodation, as per the data revealed by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.

Director of Shelter, Adam Sampson, lit up the Christmas light yesterday as part of the charity’s campaign, so as to persuade government to build up 20,000 social rented homes a year to help those thousands of homeless children who are living a miserable life full of abuse and neglect.
