Every year thousand of Somali kids are dying due to the outbreak of deadly diseases like Cholera and measles.
The latest report from the southern Somalia region states that fourteen children have died so far from Diarrhoea that has suddenly broken out. The children, already affected by poverty and living amidst unhygienic condition have nowhere to go.
Though doctors and many health activists are trying hard to spread awareness among the people, not much can be gained from these efforts.
How can anyone live in a place where the basic amenities such as daily sanitary needs are missing? Proper funds need to be allocated to these inhospitable regions if the death toll has to come down.
