A study revealed that many parents of children having hyperactive disorder sleep just for six hours at night. It was estimated that over half of the UK children with the behavioral disorder get up at least four times at night after going to bed, while around 42 percent parents wake up before six in the morning. It was also discovered that due to improper sleep one in every five parents had to miss work and nearly half of them agreed that lack of sleep has also affected their relationship with their partners.
Drug firm Eli Lilly and campaigners have launched a campaign so as to help and guide the parents to tackle with the sleep problems.
