Dr. Sue Gordon, the chairwoman of the National Indigenous Council said that the male Aboriginal leadership in Australia was too busy with their own life and has neglected the threatening problems that the child’s have been facing every single day.
She further said that the fight for Child abuse won’t be effective at all if only women fighters will be in the struggle, the elderly male members should also be actively involved if this burning issue has to be resolved soon.
As she said: “We need more Aboriginal men taking leadership on this, we never hear them talking about child abuse or family violence and how it needs to stop.’
