Hundreds of Sikh Children came out openly on the streets to protest against the ban laid down by the Secularity Law of France on the turbans.
The students took out a peaceful rally from the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib holding placards and chanting holy hymns but voicing their protest that the ban against wearing turban in the school is against the law.

It is an ‘’unsecular and undemocratic law'’, coz for them the turban that they proudly wears on their head symbolizes dignity, humanity and service.
The march taken out by the student’s was to enlighten the visiting French President Jacques Chirac know that their Turban is their pride and they cannot separate from it at any cost.
