In Haadow young girls have no choice in making decisions of their life. Soon after puberty girls are married to men, decided by their parents. They are often married to men much older to them in age. Sexual life of a girl is full of violence and rape. It is not very surprising for these men to have an immediate penetrative sex, soon after cutting the stitches in the first sexual contact involved ‘opening’. They even do not have a right to ask for a divorce. This is a very reason because of which many girls, not bearing any child, run away from their husband.



Islam has beautifully defined sex in a very spiritual way. But I do not understand why these Muslim Haadow men do not understand it?
