A stunning report from the Housing Charity Shelter states, near about 125,000 children in the region of West Midlands is suffering from poor condition at the shelter homes.
This is rather a shocking news, which should immediately get the attention of the government and the childcare groups. The homeless kids are in such a pitiable condition that they are literally packed in a makeshift area, which is neither promising nor healthy for them.
According to an estimated record, 1,420 children are trapped in a short-lived homes and the condition of around 44,935 kids are even worse. Another figure is that of about 6,975 youngsters who are staying in shady accommodation.
The authorities need to realize that such a temporary thing will create problems rather than providing any relief to these unfortunate victims of circumstances.
