According to an approximate figure released by a coalition of refugee charities around 2000 children’s under the age group of 18 every year is locked up by the immigration centers. In this regard they have urged the government to chart out some systematic plan for the custody of this children’s.



As said by the The Refugee Council, Save the Children and Bail for Immigration Detainees this kind of detention of the innocent children’s are “inhumane and unnecessary”.



A transparency is required from the Home office about the number of children’s who are being detained urged the campaigners.



This kind of detention is morally wrong and no one is authorized to keep this children’s in bound. Jasmine Whitbread, Chief executive of Save the Children said: : “These already vulnerable children can find themselves forcibly removed from their familiar surroundings - home, school, friends, clothes and toys.



“They are locked up having committed no crime. This is no way to treat children.”
