Between 2001 and 2005, around 693 kids have been kidnapped in Bihar, in India. They happen to be the most vulnerable preys before the kidnappers. These numbers include only those kidnappings that come to highlight, majority of them go unnoticed just like that.
Such is the condition of the state, in the light of the promise made by the chief minister Nitish Kumar to make Bihar a ‘crime free state’. Kidnapping is continuing in the region unabated despite the so called persistent steps taken by the government.
