Sexual molestation of a child is a heinous crime, though these days, every now and then we get to hear many such cases.
Waking up to this harsh reality, the Senators in Massachusetts unanimously approved a proposal that abolishes the time limit for sexual abuse crimes against children.
The sponsor of the proposal, Senator Stephen Tolman of Boston feels that now no child hunters will be able to hide themselves ‘behind a technicality in the law’.
However, this decision is not fully accepted by a few advocates for the victims, as the new amendment is not taking under consideration situation such as incest and crime against the older teens.
Many such reformations are being implemented time to time; however, it is results that will ultimately tell us, how effective this latest amendment is.
