Around 20 schools in U.S have received the approval that they have been wanting for long in regards to the way the development of the students is assessed.



According to reports from the New York Times permission came at a point when a vast majority of the schools in U.S was declared as inferior and low-quality.



The grant came from the U.S. Education Department which will make it possible for the states to study and judge the progress of each and every student time and again.



As per the law the students in the fifth grade will have to show tremendous advancement in reading and math’s as well.



List of states that has applied for this grant includes: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Utah.
