To keep a check on the growing number of school children’s getting devoured by the incurable disease AIDS, a joint venture was recently launched by Oman’s Health and Education Ministry and UNICEF by organizing a drawing competition.
The competition was a part of the campaign undertaken by the UNICEF and UNAIDS to make the children’s aware of the consequences of this deadly disease and how to combat with it.
Through the pictures the children’s beautifully gave a vivid and moving description of the harmful impact that AIDS has on the society and how society showered their compassion on those childrens. The drawing competition aimed to check the level of awareness that the students actually has on AIDS.
With this campaign both UNICEF and UNAIDS aims to cut down the number of children’s who are drastically harmed by AIDS.
