Innumerable number of children in India are lagging behind in the field of education, because they fall into the category of the physically challenged children.

Those who were lucky enough, got the privilege of attending their education despite the society always looking down upon them.

The Punjab government has recently announced that a Rs. 2 million project is underway to help thousands of blind students nationwide. Under this plan, the main target of the officials will be the parents, who will be encouraged to enroll their child in special need schools.

Further, a latest computerized Braille system has already been developed to meet the requirements of these blind students.
