In a step to rehabilitate the innocent child victims of trafficking and commercial sex, the Union Women and the Child Development Ministry is taking up a strong stand of strategically developing a scheme in their interest.
The Ministry has even send directives to the States to organize meetings repeatedly to combat with the growing number of sexual exploitations of the under-aged children. To meet the targets, a combined effort is made to launch awareness campaigns and provide counseling to the traumatized victims of abuse and molestations.
The Chief Secretaries nationwide is asked to work upon the said scheme and deal severely with all the abusers under the laws laid down by the Indian Penal Code.
