A recent report unveiled by Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha’s women’s study and research centre states that young children in India are not safe at all as they are subjected to abuse every now and then.

The study was filtered with data’s accumulated from several other sources such as NGO’s, internet sites and a documentation centre, which have presented a rather naked reality.

Despite many bigwigs and power-packed groups trying to combat with the growing cases of child abuse, there seems to be no progress.

The latest report collected by these groups says that nearly one out of six boys and one in four girls in India are victim of sexual abuse. Another fact is almost 80% of the sufferers are children below 17 years of age, 20% below eight and almost 50 % of them are below 12, who are often forcefully sodomised with solid objects.

This report clearly portrays the mentality that the culprits hold for the young kids: instead of creating a wonderful world for the child to live in, the adults have become Satan and hungry sex maniacs behind the mask of civilized people.
