With the speedy development in technology, today anyone can find out whether your unborn baby is a boy or a girl. Unfortunately, instead of making a better use of it, many educated Indian parents are killing the unborn child only because she is a girl.



Few doctors openly conduct such operations. While according to an estimated report given by the activists, India makes a whopping business of $100 million out of this service.



Maximum money comes from the mobile clinics set up exclusively for murdering female children. These mobile clinics can be easily taken from one place to the other thereby proving to be the biggest money making tool.



Members of all religion starting from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christians are practicing this shady act. A pertinent point that has come to notice is that this crime is more common among the educated class of women.



A major dispute is in the air, as the figures put forward by the lancet survey and the one said by the doctors of the Indian Medical Association is altogether different. While the former has quoted the figure at 500,000 every year, the later say that it is 250,000.



Much remains to be discussed. This controversial debate has put a big question mark on the hospitals across India.
