Thousand of children have gone missing since the war broke out between the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and the government in the northern region of Uganda.
In the most traumatic 20-years of their life, the parents might have never imagined that they will lose their only child. Now as the realization dawns in the strife-stricken area, no one knows what has happened to those missing children.
According to United Nations Children’s Fund, the rebel group LRA kidnapped nearly 25,000 Ugandan children during the war. Those innocent children are yet to be united with their parents. It is upon the international community now to act immediately and help the vulnerable kids.
