Issues related to the promotion and protection of children’s right was one of the main topics raised in the fifteenth meeting of the Third Committee held in Georgia recently. The Committee proposed a new definition to poverty suggesting that the poverty experienced by a child includes spiritual and emotional dimension also.
Giving new angle to the definition of poverty is not the only thing required but there has to be some ground work too. Only by having debates and meetings we can not make the World fit for children.
