Naseer, a 12 year old boy, studying in a makeshift village school, stands up and sings his ‘tsunami song’. His soft and sweet voice reflects the pain suffered by the tsunami innocent victims. The song reminds us all about the strong and deadly waves which swept away villages, separated mother from her children and left behind nothing.



Naseer’s song is still helping him and his fellow friends, to overcome the trauma and pain they suffered during the tsunami. This young boy do not feel that he is living in his home, as he do not find many people around him. But one thing which he really enjoys is the child friendly space organized and supported by the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
