The African Network for prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN), an NGO is consistently been asking the government to formulate child labour policy as early as possible.



In this regards the local NGO have put forward a statement saying that so far whatever efforts the government had been taking to stop child labour was not much effective as the problem still persists.



Many of the children’s were involved in commercial sex, agricultural sector, fishing jobs and many other domestic services.



Something has to be done soon before the situation gets worse feels the ANPPCAN officials.
