Uganda and DR Congo fall among the blacklisted countries for child soldiers, but according to close sources, the government is taking a strong stand to stop the recruitment of the young children by any armed groups.
Under the U.N. Security Council resolution of 2005, the officials are planning to launch a demobilizing drive of the child soldiers nationwide. They will further punish anyone, be it the military personnel, if they are found recruiting and children for the gun games. The law is scheduled to be implemented from the month of august.
