UN has failed to reach its target of getting as many girls educated as boys. According to the report submitted by the UNICEF around 115 million children all around the world are not getting any primary education, of which 90 million are girls.



Five years ago, the world leaders had pledged to eradicate this disparity by 2005. But outdated stereotypes, poverty, HIV/AIDS, and armed conflicts are major problems, which are to be blamed for the failure to achieve this goal.
