The UN’s millennium ambitious goal to eradicate extreme poverty, disease and inequality by 2015 was a real ray of hope for the unwanted children of the Third World.



Five years ago, the member of the UN pledged to work for the underdeveloped countries. But the promise appears to be in paper as there is no work done by the UN on this regard. According to the present year’s Development Report if the government will act now then only there is a possibility to achieve the ambitious goal.
