According to the latest report from the FBI department of United States, large numbers of teenage gangs are getting actively involved in bank robberies. Senior FBI agent Jennifer Leonard said to the Cincinnati Enquirer during an interview that increasing number of teenagers are forming big groups and carrying out major bank robbing schemes.
The accused in most of the bank robberies across the nation are teens in the age group of 15 to 17-years-old.
The concerned departments have so far not been able to identify whether this is just group activity carried out for fun, or is this springing up as a serious trend in US.
However, the biggest challenge the authority might be facing is the widespread intake of drugs as admitted by one group who was caught by the police.
